The East Bay Paratransit has launched its contactless payment application, providing riders with a convenient method to pre-pay for their trips. This app streamlines the payment process, replacing traditional paper tickets and cash transactions. Furthermore, it eliminates the necessity for riders to display their smartphones upon boarding. The EBP App offers a user-friendly interface with features that allow riders and their families to view upcoming trips and select which trips to pay for in advance.

East Bay Paratransit is a specialized public transit service catering to individuals who are unable to utilize standard buses or trains, such as those operated by AC Transit and BART, due to a disability or debilitating health condition. The service transports eligible passengers from their point of origin to their destination using vans equipped with wheelchair lifts. East Bay Paratransit was established by AC Transit and BART in compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA).
